Kismet’s customer-facing email agent that answers veterinary and nutrition questions from pet parents in the Kismet voice. Implemented as a FastAPI webhook that ingests inbound email JSON, maintains multi-turn threads via thread_id, and generates responses with Claude Opus 4.6 using the Kismet Veterinary Team system prompt.
Strategic role: a high-trust acquisition + retention channel. Lets prospects and customers get expert-feeling answers (signed by ‘The Kismet Veterinary Team’) without booking a vet visit, and creates natural openings to surface Kismet products when nutrition is genuinely relevant (digestion, gut health, skin/coat, energy, weight).
